Rt. Rev. Bishop Dr. S. Alam Khar serves as the President Bishop of Pakistan of The Methodist Church South Asia Pakistan®. He holds academic and theological qualifications including B.A., B.Th., M.Th., and Doctor of Theology.

His ministry is centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Holy Scriptures, prayer, discipleship and compassionate Christian service.

BISHOP'S BIOGRAPHY

A Life Dedicated to Gospel Ministry

Rt. Rev. Bishop Dr. S. Alam Khar is a Christian minister and church leader from Mian Channu, District Khanewal, Punjab, Pakistan. His ministry is dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and sharing the love of God with people and communities.

As President Bishop, he seeks to provide spiritual and pastoral leadership while encouraging the Church to remain faithful to its Christian calling. His vision is to reach people with the message of salvation, strengthen believers in faith, encourage discipleship and serve communities through practical Christian service.

His ministry emphasizes that the Gospel should be proclaimed both through word and action. Through evangelism, worship, Christian education, pastoral ministry and compassionate service, the Church seeks to bring hope and demonstrate the love of Christ.

As a Church, we seek to remain faithful to the teaching of Holy Scripture, proclaiming the Gospel, strengthening believers in faith and encouraging people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our ministry is not limited to words alone. We believe that Christian faith should be expressed through love, compassion and practical service.

We therefore seek to serve communities through worship, evangelism, Christian education, pastoral care, youth and family support and practical acts of service.

We also seek to encourage God's people to remain faithful in serving others:

We seek to strengthen the Church and bring hope to those who are facing difficulties. Our desire is that every person may experience the love of God and hear the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Above all, we look to Christ, who calls us to love one another:

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

As we move forward, we place our trust in God and seek His guidance through prayer. May the Lord continue to use His Church to proclaim Christ, make disciples, strengthen families and serve communities with faith, love and compassion.
